Shoulder mobility is often times the reason why pain can happen in the shoulder region, specifically if there's a lack of mobility in the Pectoralis Major. This muscle is highly influential upon the function of the Glenohumeral region and it can act as a restrictive barrier to the T-spine and scapular musculature on the opposite end of the body. By releasing the Pectoralis Major we will enable the body to restore balance in the Glenohumeral region and help with the symptoms of pain within the shoulder. Keep in mind that shoulder pain itself is likely a byproduct of a weak intrinsic stabilization system and that shoulder function is dependent on many variables.
